Dr. Michael Johnson has been practicing since 2004 and is native to Arizona.  After graduating from Show Low high school and attending Arizona State University he moved to Oregon where he graduated with his Doctorate degree from Pacific University College of Optometry. 

 

He furthered his education by completing a year long ocular disease residency from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  Dr. Johnson is a past diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and earned his Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry in 2012. 

 

He performs general eye exams for patients 5 and older, fits contact lenses, treats and manages ocular disease, and performs surgical consultations. 

 

In his free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his wife and 5 children; dancing with his daughters and fishing with his sons.  He also enjoys volunteering in our community, working on his old historic house, talking with friends, and walking his 2 dogs.
