Raymond Zimmerman , M.D.
grew up in Scottsdale and is a graduate of Brophy College Preparatory. He attended Creighton University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Loyola University of Chicago.
Dr. Zimmerman chose to further his training by completing an extra year in a glaucoma fellowship with University Eye Specialists, an affiliate of Northwestern University.
Dr. Zimmerman limits his practice to glaucoma, cataract and lens implant surgery.
E. Fredrick Bloemker, M.D.
Graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine. He is the only doctor in Arizona that was listed as a "Top Doc" by Phoenix Magazine in seven of the last twelve years. He was also listed in "Best Doctors in America" for the last five years. The physicians listed in Phoenix Magazine's "Top Docs" and the "Best Doctors in America" are selected by fellow physicians.
After serving as a Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Air Force, he returned to Indiana University for his ophthalmology residency. His practice is now limited to general ophthalmology.
James J. Koster, M.D.
Grew up in Mesa, Arizona and graduated from the University of Arizonas College of Medicine. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois Eye Center. Following this, he spent a year at the University of Michigans Kellogg Eye Center where he completed a fellowship in cornea, external diseases and refractive surgery.
Dr. George Yanik, M.D./PhD
is a graduate of the University of Illinois in Chicago, with two degrees, a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and an M.D.. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at Loyola University, in Maywood, IL. His clinical interests include: Neuro-pharmacology, Neuro-ophthalmology, and General Ophthalmology. He and his family reloated to Arizona from the Chicago area 6 years ago. His step son Karl, is a T.V. reporter and sports anchor for KWCH-TV in Kansas. His son Collin is a brown belt in Tae-Kwon-Do and attends high school in Scottsdale.
His wife Liz, is a retired RN, who is active at Scottsdale Bible Church and is a lay-Christian counsler there. She is also active and a board member for the Matthwe 25, homeless project. Dr. Yanik's interests are computers, science fiction, history and old movies.
